1. Number one is the South Granville most people know. This is the South Granville Shopping District
which is an 11-block strip on Granville
Street between the south end of the Granville Street Bridge at about
5th Ave, up the slope to 16th Avenue. This area is known for it's fashion boutiques, furniture stores, restaurants and art galleries.
2. Number two is the residential area that surrounds the shopping district. I am going to say in a couple of blocks either side of Granville street from 5th Ave to 16th Ave. You may, however get a different answer if you ask someone else. (This residential area lies within the boundary of Fairview as designated by the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver.)
3. Number three is the South Granville north of the trendy shopping district, where the northern boundary begins at 41st Ave. This South Granville is the sub area within Vancouver West as designated by the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver.
Choose the South Granville that appeals to you!

the Real Estate board has it all wrong :) that area is known as Marpole. One day they will correct their listings.

Trust me, there is only ONE South Granville! The stylish neighbourhood from the south side of the Granville Street Bridge up to 16th Ave. The neighbourhood my wife and I call home! No other neighbourhood pretending to be South Granville can compare. You are selling false hope my friends!

Thanks for the comments, I can see which South Granville is winning the title so far, or clearly which one is not!

South Granville has been South Granville since 1907! Marpole has been Marpole since 1907!
